At Global Medical Admissions ("GMA"), we believe in complete transparency in all financial matters. This Refund & Cancellation Policy clearly outlines the terms governing all fees paid to GMA. Please read this policy carefully and ensure you fully understand it before signing any agreement or making any payment.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all fees paid to GMA in connection with our MBBS abroad consultancy services. It covers:
-
GMA consultancy fees (collected in two instalments as described below).
-
University application fees, tuition fees, or any other amounts paid to or through GMA on the student's behalf.
-
Visa application fees or any government or embassy charges facilitated through GMA.
2. Consultancy Fee Structure
GMA's consultancy fee is collected in two instalments:
-
First Instalment — 50% of the total consultancy fee is collected upfront at the time of signing the service agreement. This covers initial counselling, profile assessment, country guidance, and university shortlisting.
-
Second Instalment — The remaining 50% is collected just before the formal application is submitted to the selected university. This covers application support, documentation assistance, offer letter follow-up, and pre-departure guidance.
The total consultancy fee amount and payment schedule will be clearly stated in the written service agreement signed by both parties before any payment is collected.
3. No Refund Policy — Consultancy Fees
Both instalments of the GMA consultancy fee are strictly non-refundable once paid. By making payment, the student and parent acknowledge that GMA has committed time, expertise, and resources to their case from the moment the agreement is signed. No refund will be issued under any of the following circumstances:
-
The student decides not to pursue MBBS abroad after paying the first instalment.
-
The student does not qualify NEET or fails to meet university eligibility criteria.
-
The student's visa application is rejected by the respective country's embassy or consulate.
-
The university rejects the student's application due to the student's academic profile or any student-specific reason.
-
The student withdraws from the process at any stage after payment.
-
The student joins the university and later decides to leave or discontinue.
-
Personal, financial, family, or any other reasons on the part of the student or parent.
4. No Refund Policy — University and Visa Fees
Any fees paid to universities abroad — including application fees, seat confirmation fees, tuition fees, hostel deposits, or any other institutional charges — are governed entirely by the respective university's refund policy. GMA has no control over and takes no responsibility for refunds of fees paid to universities. Similarly, visa application fees, embassy charges, and government fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. Students and parents are advised to carefully review the university's own refund and cancellation terms before making any payment to the institution.
5. Cancellation by GMA
GMA reserves the right to cancel services in the following situations:
-
The student or parent provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
-
The student or parent engages in abusive, disrespectful, or unethical behaviour toward GMA staff.
-
Circumstances beyond GMA's reasonable control (force majeure) make it impossible to continue services.
If GMA cancels services for reasons unrelated to client misconduct or false information, a pro-rata refund of the consultancy fee will be calculated based on the proportion of services already delivered at the time of cancellation, and the balance will be refunded within 10 working days.
6. Agreement Supersedes This Policy
In the event of any conflict between this Refund & Cancellation Policy and the terms of the written service agreement signed between GMA and the client, the written service agreement shall prevail. Clients are encouraged to read their service agreement carefully before signing.
7. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute regarding fees or cancellations, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mutual discussion in good faith. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Faridabad, Haryana, India, in accordance with applicable Indian law.
8. Changes to This Policy
GMA reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your payment and as stated in your signed service agreement will govern your engagement.
